My WordPress

What better way to introduce this site than the platform itself.

WordPress has been the tool of choice because

• I can never get enough of the 2-step installation
• plentiful of themes selection
• wide variety of plugins

But most important of all, it simply works.

Finding a suitable theme is straight forward. My criteria is simple: something black (obvious enough), clean layout with maximum utilization of screen resource. After browsing at the WordPress Theme site for several hours, I have come to decide on Hemmingway.

Switching to tagging become the next priority as it seems naturally to tag than to try force categories the blog into a structure tree. After shortlisted the much popular Ultimate Tag Warrior, Jeromey’s Keywords, and Category Tagging for Wordpress, I have came to decide on Category Tagging for Wordpress, probably just a matter of personal preference.

And there you have it, less than 1 day of work and this site is ready to receive visitors.
