Pink Floyd Album Cover Art
This post is dedicated to all avid pink floyd fans around the world.
I came to know of Pink Floyd some 15 years ago. When I first heard the song “Wish You Were Here” I was blown away by David Guilmor’s signature guitar work. I bought more of their CDs, eventually the entire box set, and was even so lucky to have attended the “Delicate Sound Of Thunder” concert in Canada.
The whole Pink Floyd experience is a form of experimental art. Their music were classic rock / progressive rock / electronic rock / blues rock and probably more; Their concerts were brilliant display of laser light show and gigantic projector screen; The music videos were surreal; And the album cover art were simply out of this world: from the infamous Pink Floyd’s Pigs floating above Battersea Powerstation, London; to the burning man shaking hand (which was voted best album cover arts ever created mind you).
If you are new, what a better way but to kick start with this live rendition of Wish You Were Here here.
